Lithuania, Turkey, Cameroon, Sweden, Chile, Brazil

A festival by the name of “Global Village” showcased the best of cultures of countries represented by the foreign interns working at Lovely Professional University. Interns from 8 different countries i.e. Lithuania, Turkey, Cameroon, Sweden, Chile, Brazil, Russia and Ivory Coast, put of a marvelous display of the best of what their respective countries have to offer to the world. The program was inaugurated by Shri Ashok Mittal, Chancellor Lovely Professional University.

Apart from the cultural show, the participants from foreign countries also displayed other unique offerings from their countries through stall-exhibitions. The event lasted for till late evening, as applauds to performances and casual interactions with foreign interns marked the celebrations. On part of the foreigners, they equally enjoyed the applause and appreciation heaped upon them by the overwhelming audience. Mrs. Rashmi Mittal concluded the event by presenting awards to the participants and with the declaration that a mega event on global diversity will soon be celebrated in the campus.
